Right now the wheels of change have stopped rolling at my little concrete hideaway...the place is pretty ghost and a mostly a right off due to the weather.

I am planning lots but conserving my energy until the warm breezes. Currently the Dixon focus will be working on a little movie that I have been filming over the last year, as well as this a close friend is making a little documentary about 'Antifornia', which will see me belly aching about skateboarding as well as the 'hows' and 'whys' of this autonomous build.

Still skating whatever, whenever I can, life can be cruel, but the weather makes it crueler.

This continuous slog towards nothing is pretty hard to deal with, autumn seems endless.

Time fails to function as I watch through incessant windscreen wipers, the pointless death of summer. The self indulgent clutching of the throat as it slowly writhes away all damp and soggy.

Fuck Autumn, it means nothing me. Hibernation seems favourable. Got to work on more insular projects now, forget that people and places exist.

Okay, this shit just got real.

September 5th 2010 will see the first skateboard jam hosted by the Hythe Knives. The event will take place at the ever evolving 'Padre' Barrier spot, situated right next to the hythe train station.

It's hopefully going to be a good time, mellow and fun, with some impromptu jams that will involve the giving of prizes, that have been kindly donated by Independent Trucks, Anti-Hero and Vans Shoes. We are going to construct a block and and 80's style launcher, adding to the existing barrier and curbs.

The prizes will be given for guts not glory, so stay at home Shecklers!

It will all start around 12pm so we'll keep you posted, here and all over the interweb.

'Walking Corpses'

Our local church group now has it's own zine, this will come out periodically and be free to those who get at me first. There are only 20 copies of Issue one in existence. If you get one, you get one. If you don't, then tough.

The fourth short in documenting the HKGF's zealot like view of localised skateboarding, the never ending circle of faith, from losing it all to getting it back with even more passion.

Skateboarding is a form religion, it encompasses worship, faith, repentance, enlightenment, but it doesn't live in a book or in the shadow of a church, it lives in the moment and in the hearts of those that follow it.

I am making DVD versions of this for all involved, but put it online so you all could enjoy it now, as its been finished for a long time and I almost need to do something with it, because I am fed up of looking at it.

No updates for a while, I am hibernating. Spring is coming but I need to prepare.

Feeling empty and lost in your mind is nothing to what these people must have felt as the earth swallowed them up.
